1 Dyno Day Numbers on Tue Mar 15, 2011 10:55 am

After doing some research and crunching some numbers I am actually quite happy with our dyno numbers. I have found online that the 4l80E can have more than 22% drive train loss. Couple that with a missing trans bushing and heavy rear suspension and I think that a 25% loss is very realistic, maybe even a bit low.

So 310hp X 0.75 = 232.5hp. That would be our theoretical wheel horsepower at sea level on a dry 70 degree day at normal barometric pressure.

353f/lbs X 0.75 = 264.75f/lbs. So our actual torque was up on our theoretical torque.

In the end it doesn't really matter. 210whp and 270wtorque makes for a straight-line rocket.
