While having AC in a black car, in August would be very nice and cause the other teams to turn green with envy, I think it would be best to ditch the AC system. I don't think that there will be any dissenting opinions.

While it would be nice to dispose of the refrigerant properly and not risk incurring a $25,000 fine, the general consensus seems to be to vent the system somewhere away from all of our houses. Then all of the components have to go.

As an update. About half of the AC system is removed from the car. The AC compressor and condenser still need to be removed. The compressor should be easy enough. It seems to be driven off it's own accessory belt. To remove the condenser the easy way will likely require a cuttoff wheel and the removal of the hood struts. The hard way will require removing the radiator and connected systems.
